The United Nations Development Programme / Programme of Assistance to the Palestinian People (UNDP/PAPP) invites national and international individual consultants to express their interest in providing consulting services for UNDP/PAPP supported development programmes. Interested consultants shall follow the on-line registration procedure and upload necessary required documents to be included onto the Roster Database. Qualified consultants in the identified areas of expertise can be further contracted by UNDP/PAPP to provide required services in the context of development programmes to be implemented in the country. Contracting the individual consultants will be done in line with UNDP procurement rules. This request for Expression of Interest (EoI) does not constitute a solicitation. Please note that UNDP contracts for such consultancy services contain standard UNDP Terms and Conditions, which may be viewed at the Conditions of Contract page of this website. The UNDP/PAPP reserves the right to change or cancel this request for EoI at any time.

Competencies :
Applicants meeting the minimum qualifications will be reserved on the UNDP/PAPP consultants roster. A list of qualified consultants will be posted at this site shortly after the identification process. Short listed candidates for the needed positions will be contacted as required. The selection method of the individual expert will be based on his/her experience in accordance to the specific requirements mentioned in the Terms of Reference (ToR).
Qualifications :
Category 1. Senior Consultant shall have a Bachelor degree in the respective field of specialty with at least eighteen (18) years of post qualification professional experience, equivalent to a Master degree in the respective field of specialty with at least fifteen (15) years of post qualification professional experience. Category 2. Consultant shall have a Bachelor degree in the respective field of specialty with at least eight (8) years of post qualification professional experience, equivalent to a Master degree in the respective field of specialty with at least five (5) years of post qualification professional experience. Category 3. Junior Consultant shall have a Bachelor degree in the respective field of specialty with at least five (5) years of post qualification professional experience, equivalent to a Master degree in the respective field of specialty with at least two (2) years of post qualification professional experience. Proficiency in English language (spoken and written); Arabic desirable. Computer-literacy and presentation skills. Good inter-personal and cross-cultural communication skills. Good team management skills and experience of project cycle management.
